​I’ve always seen myself as a little unconventional — creative, curious, and inspired by spaces

that don't fit neatly into a box.

For more than 27 years, my world revolved around my wedding photography studio,

Sage Studios Photography.

I've always loved creative light, mood, texture and atmosphere and how the right

environment can completely change the way a space feels.

​

In 2015, I took a leap in a new direction and joined my mother, an interior designer

for over 40 years, when she opened her gift shop, Loft Fifty 5.

Both my studio and the shop were in the same converted mill building in Manchester, NH's Historic District.

With its soaring 15-foot ceilings, original hardwood floors, and wall-to-wall windows, the space

was constantly flooded with natural light. It was open, airy, and full of history—yet still somehow

felt warm and inviting. That blend, contrast and vibe stayed with me.

I’ve always been drawn to spaces that feel open yet intimate, where clean lines and

natural light are balanced with warmth, texture, and comfort.

When I started my candle business, I wanted to bring that feeling to life. That vision became

Loft Cottage Candle Company. As the brand evolved to include thoughtfully curated

gifts and home décor, it naturally grew into what is now simply Loft Cottage Co.

​The name reflects the balance and my designs are intentionally minimal—simple, clean,

sophisticated, and timeless—so they blend effortlessly into any space without distraction.

Creating a luxurious but quality candle was incredibly important to me.

Every candle is handmade by me and crafted with premium Coconut Apricot wax.
